Red Hill Marathon & Classic

The Red Hill includes two distances.  A full marathon for those who want to qualify for an Ultra and the original 36 Km Classic.  In the Classic, the ATC team of Davide De Fante, Greg Goodall, Bernard Griesel and Dean Hopf posted the fastest combined time and won the club prize!  Greg also won the 35-39 AG and Timony Siebert was 3rd under the veteran ladies.

The SwimRun Cape event was help in icy and rough seas but SwimRunners persevered to complete yet another exhilarating event along the Atlantic coastline.

Vicky Van Der Merwe was in the winning ladies team (Vicky & Alex), Julika Pahl was in the winning mixed team (DerpDuo) and Karen Graaff & Jacqueline Vockins was the 3rd ladies team (Labradors) home.

Breeland Cellars

The Slanghoek Road Triathlon took place in extreme heat and was declared a non-wetsuit swim.  The run for the Standard Distance Triathlon was also shortened to 5 Kms.  Still, it was a great day out at the magnificent Breeland Cellars in the Slanghoek Valley.

Otter African Trail

Nature's Valley to Stormsriver Mouth

The Otter African Trail is a 42 Km Trail run from the Stormsriver Mouth Nature Reserve to Nature’s Valley along the world-famous hiking trail of the same name.  Every other year, the route is run in reverse, hence the RETTO. Due to high demand for entries and the limited number of runners allowed on the trail, there are two events, the Challenge, and the more competitive Run.
