14 Mar '16: SS TTT Results

Thank you very much to everyone who raced the ATC Summer Sunset Team Time Trial on the 24^th of February!  For the first time ever, we had superb weather, a beautiful sunset and an almost full moon.  We would like to thank all the runners for their cooperation and patience with the last minute route changes, which were due to the Cape Town Cycle Tour finish area being constructed on a section of our route.

 

We welcomed back Paul Kaye, our famous Ironman announcer, who had a field day with the creative team names.  The #HOPEPHIL Fairies won the prize for the best dressed team whilst the Flying Platypuses walked away with the prize for the best team name.  The Arkwa Joggers were crowned worst-dressed but had the most original baton.

 

Congratulations to Easterns Kraaifontein, overall winners and Da Hui, who won the Corporate Category.  The top team and top individual results are shown at the bottom of this email.  Unfortunately the list of individual lap times is very long so we published it on the events page at:  https://www.atcmultisport.club/events/atc-sunset-ttt-feb-2016

FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN organisers gave us two free entries to the event as well as two UPGRADES to the GOLD PACKAGE.  The Gold Package is for runners who have already entered (or plan to enter) and includes a shuttle service to the start, exclusive access to the Gold Entrants areas and much more.  These were handed out as lucky draw prizes to teams.  FNB Cape Town 12 ONERUN have also kindly offered to provide each member of the winning team, Easterns Kraaifontein, a free entry into the event.  See more about this event on:
