Knysna Big 5 Sports Challenge
The Big 5 Sport Challenge is on in full swing and with two stages complete, Stuart Marais is leading the Challenge followed by Theo Blignaut in 2nd. Dean Hopf (3rd), Davide Del Fante (4th), and Travys Wilkins (7th) are currently keeping ATC well represented in the Top 10. In the Big 5 LITE, Piet Viljoen is lying in 3rd overall and Ariel Rubin is the 6th Male. Under the ladies in the LITE, Angelique Edwards is lying in 5th and Lucy Gauntlett in 8th.
Today (Tuesday) is the 3rd stage, the Featherbed Trail Run. We wish all the ATC’ers al the best for the remainder of the challenge.

Annual New Balance Sale
A reminder that the Annual New Balance Sale is on and will end on 17 July. You can visit any of these stores for some great deals: Canal Walk, Diep River Outlet Store, Kenilworth Access Park and Kuils River Access Park.
TRAINING: Details here...
We have a limited training schedule this week due to the Knysna Oyster Festival. Please note the schedule below:
SWIM: Note that there will NO Canal Swim this Saturday, 9 July.
BIKE: On Thursday morning we will do a Road Bike Ride from the Point Virgin Active at 06:00. Out towards Hout Bay and back. Please bring a proper bike light.
RUN: We will not have a Club Time Trial in July but Track will continue as per normal on Wednesday evening at 18:00. The ATC Container will also be open on Wednesday evening.
On Thursday evening we will do a TRAIL Run from the Green Point Cricket Club at 17:30.
There is no training scheduled for this weekend.

Knysna Big 5 Sports Challenge – Oyster Festival
The Big 5 continues today with the Featherbed Trail Runs. Tomorrow (Wednesday) there is the Knysna Marathon Club 10 & 5 Km Fun Runs, which are not part of the Big 5 but form part of the Oyster Festival activities.
Stage 4 of the Big 5 is the DUALX off-road Duathlon, taking place on Thursday on the Pezula Field of Dreams. The Knysna Marathon Club Street Miles also take place on Thursday.
The big day is on Saturday with the Knysna Forest Marathon and Half Marathon, the latter being the final stage of the Big 5! If you still have some run left in you on Sunday, you can do the Knysna Houtkapper Trail Run. This run is in the forest near Rheenendal.
Other Events:
Back home, on Sunday, there is the Dirtopia Wine Adventure Trail Run on the Warwick Wine Estate, near Stellenbosch.
